Terms and Conditions:

Cost: The cost of the Couture Sewing School trip to Paris is $5900.

Air Transportation: Air transportation to and from Paris is the responsibility of the participant. You will need to be in Paris from Sunday, November 9 through Monday, November 17, 2008. Please arrange your flights accordingly. Once you've registered, Susan will provide information on transfers from the airport to the hotel; private transportation to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport is included.

Hotel: Eight (8) nights of accommodation will be provided. The single room supplement is $800. A full breakfast is included.

Entrance Fees, Tickets, Group Meals: Admission to all venues, instruction sessions, tours and meals listed are included. All other meals are the responsibility of the individual.

Land Transportation: All public transportation within Paris when with the group is included.

Travel Documents: U.S. citizens will need a valid passport.

Included in the Tour Price: Hotel (double occupancy) for 8 nights, from Sunday, November 9 through Monday, November 17, 2008, including full breakfast and all taxes; all transportation within Paris when with the group; all entry fees and tours when with the group; a welcome lunch at our hotel and dinner the first night; a couture draping seminar; a day of instruction at Lesage; sight-seeing tickets; farewell dinner.

Not Included in the Tour Price: Passport fees; visa (non-U.S. citizen); personal and or/baggage insurance; excess baggage; meals, tours and entrance fees not specified in the itinerary; all items of a personal nature such as laundry, cleaning, telephone and beverages; wine, liquor, bottled water, soft drinks, meals not mentioned in this brochure under included features; tips to porters, drivers and local guides; and all other items not specifically mentioned as included above and listed on the Terms and Conditions Page.

Deposit and Payments: A deposit of $900 will confirm your reservation. The balance of $5000 is due by September 1, 2008. Failure to pay by this date may result in the cancellation of your registration and forfeiture of your deposit. Deposits will be processed in order of receipt.

Cancellations and Refunds: All cancellations, for any reason whatsoever, will be subject to a $100 per person cancellation fee. Cancellation within 90 to 61 days prior to the tour will result in forfeiture of 10% of the cost of the tour per person; within 60-31 days, 30%; within 30-15 days, 50%. Cancellation within 14 days or less will result in forfeiture of the entire cost of the tour. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly advised.

Responsibility: Susan Khalje, The Couture Sewing School and her agents, in regard to any mode of travel, assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned, either by reason of defect in any vehicle, or through the acts of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. They can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in services, sickness, weather, strikes, war, terrorist action, quarantine or other causes. All such losses or expenses must be borne by the participant as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the times stated. The right is reserved to substitute a hotel of similar quality. The right is reserved to make minor changes in the itinerary, and the right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure, in which case a full refund will constitute full settlement to the registrant. No refund will be made for any unused portion of the tour. All registrants will be required to sign a responsibility statement.

At the time of this writing, the price of the 2008 Paris Tour has been calculated at an exchange rate of $1.50/€. Should the exchange rate differ considerably by the time of the trip, then a surcharge will be imposed.
